In the first line of your email, please include the number of the prompt you are replying to.
Please ensure your work is in .pdf or .dox format.
Attach all written works as separate documents.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide payment to our contributors at this time, but we hope to be able to do so in the future.
Please allow up to one month from your initial submission date before following up with us.
All contributors will receive a proof copy of their submission prior to publication.
If your work has been accepted in the past, please wait between issues before submitting again.
Rights: By submitting to missive mag, if accepted, you grant us first electronic rights and non-exclusive archival rights. All submissions remain the intellectual property of the artist. Rights revert back to the author upon publication. Authors retain copyright and will be credited on every occasion.

Your piece must fit the current theme and respond to one of the given prompts to be considered for publication.
Your letter must be addressed to someone.
Please submit no more than five letters in total.
Each letter should be a maximum of 1,500 words long.
There is no minimum word count.
We will accept previously published material as long as it features on a personal blog or social media page.
Anything that has been published elsewhere will not be accepted.
You may choose to disclose your full name, to be listed alongside your published letter.
However, if you would prefer to write under a pseudonym or remain anonymous, please let us know.
